Marked trails to Urho Kekkonen National Park from the center
of Saariselkä - from the trailhead at the model of Lapp
tepee - as well as from Kiilopää and Tankavaara. You can
choose the trail best suited to your condition and schedule,
ranging from a 1 km walk to a trek of several days. The park
has Finland's densest network of wilderness cabins (with and
without overnight facilities). The park's best-known
attractions are Lake Luirojärvi and Sokosti Fell.

| Nature trails suited for families with children can be found
at Riutula (Fox trail, 2 km) and from Kaamanen (on E75 highway
route) with two trails, shorter one 3 km and the longer one 6
im. Tankavaara also has some shorter nature trails.
