Programmes follows are ideally for the meetings! Excursions
will be done according to your schedule, meetings in the
morning and safaris in the afternoon or as you wish! DAY
I
Arrive at Ivalo Airport where a local guide will be there to
meet the group welcome to Lapland. Transfer from airport to
Hotel & Igloo Village Kakslauttanen and settle in to cosy log
cabins. In every cabin there is own fireplace and Finnish
sauna. Dinner is served at the log restaurant.
DAY II
After breakfast, day starts with a real speed. We will take a
short walk to the husky farm near by. This farm has 250 dogs
willing to run in the wilderness. The host of the husky farm
welcomes us to the husky farm. The huskies will take you
through the forest up to the fells. There are two persons on
one sledge with one husky team of 4-7 dogs. Every dog has own
name and is well trained to their tasks. Other person is
driving and the other is a passenger on the sledge. During
the trip it is possible to change places. Picnic lunch is
prepared on the open fire in kota which is situated in the
wilderness.
When arriving from the husky safari, possibility to join
sauna in the cabin. Dinner in the kota restaurant at
Kakslauttanen.
DAY III
When breakfast is enjoyed, it departure for the snowmobile
safari. It is a different trail from that of the husky
safari. After the driving instructions we head our
snowmobiles to the fells and forests, 2 person / snowmobile.
In the middle of the fells and forests the lap hut is waiting
for the adventures. In the hut lunch is prepared by the
safari guides. Driving with snowmobile is approximately 50
kilometres.
 DAY
IV
Real team building! Today’s programme is winter pentathlon at
the reindeer farm. After breakfast the coach will take you to
the reindeer farm. Suddenly we can see the farm by a small
frozen lake. We are ready for the WINTER PENTATHLON. Events
such as four-wheel driving, tandem skiing, Lappish shoes
throwing, kota tent building, Lapp lasso throwing and
snowshoe-running, reindeer driving school ( you will even
receive your own driving license for reindeers!) After the
pentathlon lunch is served in the log house at the farm. Our
host has made for us a delicious lunch! After the winners of
the pentathlon have been awarded, we will return by coach to
Kakslauttanen.
DAY V
Breakfast and morning at leisure before transfer to Ivalo
airport and return flights.
