Our trips are perfect for company guests and personnel. We offer foamy golden rapids, the history and modern times of gold on this wilderness river.

Our safari begins with transport to the edge of Kuttura, a Saami First Nation village, where our fully equipped rubber dinghy awaits you. On a canoeing course, our guides explain about the flow of the currents and the stony areas above the rapids and how to control the dinghy.

On our way to Kultala by the river Ivalonjoki, we stop for coffee and listen to nature’s mighty sounds on the famous “Saarnaköngäs rapids”.

At our overnight lodgings, we enjoy a delicious meal of reindeer or salmon. Those that want can spend the evening fishing and exploring the area surrounding the Kultala Kruununstation Museum, the centre of the gold rush, which is known for its more than 100-year history of gold. Old stories guarantee a gold era atmosphere.

After breakfast, our journey takes us towards Ritakoski kultala where we enjoy lunch. We continue, gently paddling, towards Tolonen, for a “cold one” as a reward for this unforgettable journey.
