DAY I
Arrival to Ivalo Airport where your local guide is wishing
you to welcome to Lapland. Transportation to Holiday Village
Kakslauttanen. Accommodation in a comfortable log cabins at
Hotel Kakslauttanen.
 After
lunch there will be a visit to the TANKAVAARA Gold Village. A
visit to the gold museum, afterwards a possibility to try
your luck in gold panning!
In the evening a traditional Lapp dinner will be served in
a genuine Lapp Kota restaurant: reindeer stew with mashed
potatoes and lingonberry, Finnish ice cream with
cloudberries. After the dinner an evening trip will be made
to Kaunispää Fell- from the beginning of July the sun does no
set at all!
DAY II
After breakfast departure for a whole-day trip: First a bus
ride via Ivalo along the shores of the Lake Inari to the Lapp
village Inari. Then to Njurgalahti, from where the tour
continues by open river boats 20 kilometers upstream along
the untouched Lemmenjoki river to the Ravadas Falls. Picnic
in the wilderness in the Lemmenjoki National Park. After
return by boat to Njurgalahti the tour continues by bus to
Inari, where a visit will be made to the open-air Sami
Museum.
Dinner at the log restaurant of Kakslauttanen. The chef’s
speciality includes a roquefort cheese soup savoured with
smoked reindeer, charcoal-grilled salmon
 with
creamy wild mushroom sauce served with boiled potatoes and
fried vegetables, prepared in front of the clients, and a
dessert of lingonberry parfait. Accommodation at
Kakslauttanen.
DAY III
Breakfast at Kakslauttanen: The morning is free for outdoor
activities and shopping. Transfer to Ivalo Airport.

SUMMER GAMES AT REINDEER FARM
We depart from Saariselkä by coach or hiking to the reindeer
farm, There we shall organise different events in the forest.
We have delightful summer Olympics to test our skills for
example with mountain biking, making fire, lasso throwing,
building a kota tent, and archery.
After the competition lunch is served in the log house at
the farm. Our host has made for us a delicious lunch! After
the winners of the Olympics have been awarded, we will return
by coach to Kakslauttanen. Duration of the Olympics is 4
hours by coach and 5-6 hours hiking one way, return by coach.
