In Northern Lapland there are many sights to see and activities to do in summer and in winter. Holiday Village Inari is situated on the shore of Lake Inari and close to centre of Inari village, so it is an excellent place to stay during your holiday in Northern Lapland.
You can reach Lake Inari very easily – just walk to the shore. In summer you can spend time on Lake Inari by paddling, boating and fishing – and if you dare: also swim in it. In winter the lake is covered with ice and snow. Then it is perfect for walking, for snowshoe or cross-country skiing trips and for snowmobile safaris.
On the other side of Inari village there is River Juutua, which is famous among fly-fishers. Around Inari there are hundreds of smaller lakes, which are good for fishing in winter and summer. The village is surrounded by old pine forests where you can go hiking on marked trails and skiing on cross-country skiing tracks. For bird watchers there are several good places for observing many different kinds of birds.
It is only a short walk from Holiday Village Inari to the shops and sights in the village. One of the important and interesting sights is Siida – the Sámi Museum and Northern Lapland Nature Centre. It has excellent exhibitions about Sámi people and their culture and the wildlife of Northern Lapland. Inari is also famous for its artists: you find traditional Sámi as well as modern handicrafts. You will find the studios and shops of the artists easily from the centre of Inari village.
Roads cross in Inari village, so it is easy to do one or even more day trips to other villages in the Inari area and to North Norway, too. For example, you can visit Lemmenjoki national park or the Arctic Ocean in Norway within one day.
Holiday Village Inari is open the whole year round. We have cottages and cabins, but also a camping ground for mobile homes, caravans and tents. You can also join us for guided tours with boats, snow mobiles and so on.
Because Holiday Village Inari is situated by lake and in open field, we have less mosquito.

The construction of MS Inari III is progressing on schedule. The cruise ship will be in use next summer.
MS Inari III will be registered for 99 passengers and all the passengers can go inside if necessary.
Compared to the current cruise ship the interiors of the new vessel are less stringent and thus allow more various events.
