WINTER ACTIVITIES

IN REINDEER CARAVAN
A reindeer herder in a colourful Lappish costume guides a reindeer caravan. You sit on a reindeer skin in a sleigh and drive your own reindeer. Enjoy some warm crowberry juice in a "kota". End by throwing a lasso and feeding the reindeer. Min. 2 persons
Duration: 2 hours

A "BIG SHOTS" TRIP TO KAUNISPÄÄ
Experience the pleasure of a snowshoe trip on untouched snow in the peace of the fells in the tracks of animals. After coffee and doughnuts on the peak, return on sledges down the longest sledge hill of your life.
Duration: 2 ½ hours

LAPLAND EVENING/REINDEER FEAST
Experience Lappish delicacies and the vivid colours of the costumes in the atmosphere of a campfire in a lean-to.
Duration: 2-3 hours. Minimum 10 persons.
Additional charge: a "joiku" traditional song performance, driving a reindeer, Lapland competitions and games, etc.

HUSKY DOG SAFARIS
A speedy but quiet ride across the wilderness.
Duration: 3 hours with coffee or 4-5 hours including lunch

CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING SCHOOL
2hours.  Minimum 2 persons. 60€/person, including skiing equipments for the day or the waxing of your skis.

Inc. Siida - the Sami Museum & Northern Lapland Nature Centre
Tankavaara - the Golden World and the guide centre at the Urho Kekkonen National Park.
